As an LPL Financial Advisor with Gulf Coast Wealth Management, David Pullen brings extensive financial knowledge and experience through nearly two decades of working in global capital markets in Europe and Asia. This distinctive background enables him to look beyond routine avenues of investment to highlight opportunity and craft financial plans that address the specific needs and unique circumstances of each client.
For David, clients and their families come first. The ability to fully comprehend not just a personal financial issue but the overall life circumstances of each individual is his goal. David understands the value of communication and the trust needed to create a personal experience that leads to a successful and productive client relationship.
With increased market volatility, many asset classes at multi-year highs, and a world of diminished returns, an innovative and fresh approach to investing is required to navigate the challenges ahead. Combining his own insight and skills with the resources and expertise of LPL Financial and Gulf Coast Wealth Management allows David to offer access to a broad suite of products and advice with the independence to select the appropriate solution for each client. Whether the goal is capital preservation, income, growth or asset allocation, each is approached with strategies that are clear and specific to the client’s needs.
David is originally from Hereford in the west of England, holds a degree in Mathematics with History from the University of Wolverhampton and is a fluent Japanese speaker. His professional career took him from London to Tokyo, Japan where he worked for Merrill Lynch and Citibank as a listed derivatives sales person and desk manager, gaining invaluable expertise in global markets rarely found in a local investment professional. He moved to New Orleans in the summer of 2015 with his wife, a Louisiana native, and two daughters. David is thrilled to call New Orleans home and has immersed himself into the culture of this dynamic city. He enjoys spending time with family, British sports, running and discovering the Gulf South.
